A breakthrough in Pain Management & Preventative Medicine
AquaStretch may quickly restore flexibility lost after accidents and surgeries, even more than three months after an injury. It may significantly and immediately reduce chronic pain or movement pain, and/or create profound relaxation that may help improve sleep. AquaStretch theoretically breaks down fascial adhesions that inhibit flexibility or may cause nerve impingements, muscle tension or soreness, vascular insufficiencies, and pain. It may also be used in fitness and athletic conditioning to increase flexibility. - George Eversaul, A.P.H.
We do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat. AquaStretch exercise has helped people with:
1. Lower back, neck, joint or muscle pain (including arthritis, headaches, fibromyalgia).
2. Idiopathic pain or nerve dysfunction (i.e. ovarian pain, plantar fasciatis).
3. Soft tissue prep, for synergy with massage, chiropractic, OMT and cranial work.
4. Post surgical rehabilitation: ACL, meniscus, hip and knee replacement, post natal.
5. Pain management programs, including accidents, combat, and sports injuries.
6. Scoliosis and other spinal deformities, including degenerative or herniated disks.
7. Psychological: May reduce anxiety & PMS emotions. May increase mental clarity.
8. Sleep problems.

You do not need to know how to swim to participate in AquaStretch.
Each dynamic stretching session is performed in 3-4 foot deep water and is personalized to meet the needs of the client. It is like being stretched by an athletic trainer, only with movement in the water, and with 5-15 lb weights attached to your body. People who respond to AquaStretch usually experience significant pain relief and/or restoration of flexibility in their first session. Because AquaStretch seems to be immediate and create relatively permanent changes in the soft tissue, most people do not need regular AquaStretch exercise but only need intermittent sessions to maintain their AquaStretch health improvements. The following groups have especially benefited:

Real People - Real Results!
Based on actual experience with over 2,000 clients seen at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Wellness Center since January 2008, AquaStretch was consistently observed to restore flexibility, relieve soreness from intense training and chronic pain post injury, and to induce physical relaxation ("getting loose").

How Does AquaStretch Work?
The theory is that AquaStretch breaks down micro-calcifications in fascia (adhesions), that restrict flexibility, and/or that stretching in the water simply allows you to stretch more effectively because you can stretch for longer periods and in positions you normally cannot stretch on land. With increased flexibility, there may be more joint space, which may reduce impingements causing pain and/or other muscular, neurological, and vascular dysfunctions.
